Idea: Get single for GU. We asked our audience to break out the excuses and #GetSingle for GU to win a trip for one to the big apple.
A series of fifteen second clips were shown on TV and on GU's social media channels.
We dotted excuses around London for people to stumble upon.
We staged public 'break ups' at commuter hotspots like Waterloo.
The campaign did the rounds on social gaining 129,000 hits on imgur in 24 hours and hundreds of upvotes on reddit. It even gained notoriety in the local news.
We then reposted the breakups on GU’s social channels along with the newly single range of pud’s. Getting single has never been as indulgent.
